** Best Traditional Vibrator **

Alone in her bedroom that night, Anabelle once again opened the slender box that Shane had left for her before his plane departed. She had been puzzled the first time she opened it—she’d never seen one before. Even now, it looked strange to her…not intimidating, exactly—after all, it was pink—but simply foreign. She could hardly imagine what she was about to do.

However, the note he had left was explicit. She unfolded it and read once more:

“While I am gone, I have left you something to keep you company. You must use it at least once each day. Do not skip a day, and don’t forget!

To turn it on, press the button built into the side of the base. You’ll feel the vibrations begin. Open your legs and place the tip against your very most sensitive spot, the place you love to feel my tongue. You’ll discover what to do yourself after that.

Remember, at least once each day!”

She blushed just reading what he had written, but she also felt a flutter of excitement. His words were very direct—he had left her no choice. Tentatively she picked up the slender, pink tube and held it in front of her face, trying to see the button to push. Was this it?

The low buzz and the powerful vibration almost made her drop the thing on the floor! She bit her lower lip as she considered it, embarrassment warring with anticipation inside her. She would certainly feel strange if…no, WHEN she carried out his instructions. Could she? Should she do it right now?

Anabelle looked up, double-checking that she was alone in her room. Then, she reached down and lifted the hem of her skirt, pulling it up over her thighs. Licking her lips, she parted her legs, revealing her nakedness beneath. That was Shane’s other instruction—she may not wear panties while he was gone. The vibrator buzzed inexorably in her hand as she made herself lower it and gently place it up against the crinkled folds of her vulva…

Jake’s Thoughts:

I purchased the Je T’aime Traditional Vibrator as an alternative to our favorite Raspberry Turbo Crush model because the lifespan of the Turbo Crush seems to be limited to about six months. We’ve gone through two of them in less than a year, and since durability seems to be an issue, I wanted to look at other options. After giving the Je T’aime Vibrator a month-long test drive, both Joy and I are glad we tried it.

The Je T’aime is a simple, no-frills vibrator–in my opinion the best type for couples play. It is meant to provide direct stimulation to the user’s clitoris, and while it can be inserted if desired, that’s not really what it’s best at. In a couples situation, that’s a good thing, as I have a bodily part I’d prefer to insert instead, while using the vibrator on the outside.

I purchased the Je T’aime Vibrator because it was supposed to have a stronger vibration than most other models. In trying it out, that has proven to be true. Its vibration has a heavy, powerful feel to it, and it does an excellent job of bring Joy to her climax. While not silent, the buzz it emits is manageable, and shouldn’t get you into trouble as long as the door is closed. Like most vibrators, there are several different built-in vibration patterns available, but as usual, Joy doesn’t find any benefit to any of them. The best pattern for Joy is a constant buzz—other settings are superfluous.

If you look at other reviews of the Je T’aime Vibrator online, you’ll see that people call out the control button as an issue. Rather than the more common “twist the base to make the vibrations speed up” control scheme, the Je T’aime Vibrator allows you to turn the vibrator on and cycle through vibration options by pushing a button built into the side of the base. Some users find this hard to use, but I find this control scheme to be a plus rather than a minus. For one thing, having the button on the side reduces the opportunity that I’ll change the setting by accident. For another, when the vibrator is off, it’s off—those twist-on types sometimes remain on at a very low level when you think they are off, and therefore drain their batteries while they are in storage.

One other feature of the controls has to do with how you turn the vibrator off. To shut it down, you hold down the control button continuously for three seconds. I love this idea, because there’s nothing more frustrating that getting Joy almost to orgasm and having her thrashing and twisting cause me to accidentally bump the controls and turn off the vibrator. With the hold-down-continuously requirement to turn it off, accidental shut downs are eliminated.

The Je T’aime Vibrator runs on two double-A batteries, which are common, easy to obtain, and provide a fair amount of operating time before they discharge. It is also waterproof, so clean up is easy and, if you’re into it, you can use it in the bath. While I can’t yet speak to the vibrator’s durability (because we’ve only had it for a little over a month), I regard this as an upgrade over the Turbo Crush due to the power of the vibrations and the control scheme. Highly recommended.
