** Best Spreader Bar **

The tip of the whip curled up around Naomi’s leg, drawing a line of fire across the soft skin of her thigh. Reflexively she struggled to close her legs, but the metal bar, one end fastened to each ankle, prevented her. She pulled fruitlessly against the cuffs that bound her hands overhead, her whole weight behind the effort, but they maintained their remorseless grip on her wrists.

“Only seven more to go, Baby.” Dawn’s voice was low and full of desire, and she caressed Naomi’s buttock and thigh, sliding her hand up to the moist slit between her legs for a moment. Naomi squirmed as her lover’s fingers slipped between the folds of her vulva. “Seven more, Baby, and then I’ll give you another kind of lashing.” Naomi felt Dawn’s lips beside her ear as she whispered, “The kind where I use my tongue.”

Equal parts of pain and pleasure wrestled within her for dominance. Then Dawn’s fingers left her and the whip came again. Pain caressed the cheeks of her ass and Naomi let herself scream against the gag.

Jake’s Thoughts: This is a portable, basic spreader bar. The portability comes in because it can be disassembled into three pieces of tubing, thereby enabling it to fit inside a bag or suitcase (just in case you need it while you’re traveling). When it is assembled, the two end pieces fit over the center piece, one on each end, and can be secured with a pin. Because there are multiple sets of holes through which the pins can be inserted, it allows the bar to be set to different lengths (25 to 37 inches). The bar is sturdy and rigid when assembled, even on the widest setting.

Each end of the bar has a small ring set on it, so that the wearer’s limbs can be attached, either via cuffs and a snap hook or directly with some sort of tie. Joy has long legs, but nonetheless the bar spreads them nicely when set to it’s full length.

For a basic spreader bar, I really have no quibbles with this. There are features I wish it had (for instance, I’d prefer an attachment point in the middle of the bar where I could secure Joy’s hands), but that would take it out of the basic category. If you’re looking to purchase your first spreader bar to experiment with, you could do far worse than to purchase this one. Recommended.
