Jeannette reached her hand inside her purse, feeling for something. After a moment, she settled back into her seat and began typing once more, an odd little smile playing on her face.

Her boss, Andrea, strolled over, looking at her curiously. “Have you finished the proposal yet?” she asked as she stood beside her desk.

“Not yet, but I’m working on it,” Jeannette replied, the smile still on her face. “Don’t worry, Andrea, it’ll turn out great.”

“I hope so.” Andrea pursed her lips, then turned and moved off down the row of cubes.

Jeannette reached into her purse again, finding the tiny remote and adjusting the vibration speed up a notch. Deep inside her ass the vibrating egg responded, silently changing over from a warm purr to a more vigorous buzz. Jeanette settled back down in her seat again. “A few extra bees to shake off those mid-afternoon blues,” she thought to herself, her fingers finding their home on the keyboard. Contentedly, she resumed her typing…

Jake’s Thoughts: I had high hopes that the Genius Secret Vibe by Dorcel would prove the answer to a long standing need Joy and I have had. Unfortunately it did not live up to my hopes, though it is nonetheless a quality wireless remote, vibrating egg. Let’s cover the positive aspects it brings to the table first, and then we’ll discuss where Joy and I felt it fell short.

On the plus side of the ledger, the Genius Secret Vibe appears to be better-made than previous wireless vibrating eggs we’ve experimented with. Those have tended to fail rather quickly for mysterious reasons, leading me to conclude that they were poorly manufactured. The Genius Secret Vibe is covered with smooth, rose-colored plastic, the pieces fit together well and the remote seems durable with buttons that feel like they’ll still be functioning after repeated usage. It’s lasted longer than the other eggs we’ve tried already, and seems destined to have a long lifespan.

The Genius runs quietly, and is essentially silent when it is inserted; no one would ever know it was there without looking! It comes with a soft, plastic sheath that serves to convert it into a vibrating anal plug when it is used—a nice touch for those who like anal play. For vaginal use, a retrieval cord extends from the bottom of the bullet to ensure it can easily be removed when playtime is over. It comes with a variety of speed and vibration options for those who appreciate them–our finding has always been that those make little difference.

The egg itself is typical in size—approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 inches inches in length—and it slides in easily, especially if a little lubrication is employed. Proper batteries to power both the remote and the egg are included with the product, a nice touch. And naturally the egg is waterproof (it better be!), so cleanup is easy.

On the downside, however, the Genius isn’t particularly inexpensive, and the vibrations are not especially powerful. Joy could feel it when I activated it, but the buzz wasn’t strong enough to provide the rush of excitement I was looking for. This issue is exacerbated by the softness and flexibility of the sheath, which tends not to transmit the vibrations down its length. Therefore, when used as an anal plug, the stimulation is felt almost exclusively deep inside rather than at the entrance to the wearer’s ass.

To be fair, we had a specific niche we were trying to fill with this product, and perhaps it’s just not cut out for that role. We wanted a wireless, vibrating, anal dildo to put in our internal dildo harness so that Joy could wear it out under her skirt when we went on a date. Though she did, in fact, wear it out under her skirt, the flexible sheath does not allow for harness-compatibility, and the Genius is more of a plug than a realistic dildo. Those facts plus the weaker vibrations detracted from the planned festivities, though we still managed to have a good time.

So all-in-all, the Genius Secret Vibe is a respectable, well-made vibrating egg with a good wireless remote capability that operates silently but with mediocre vibration power. If this will meet your needs and you don’t mind paying for the quality of manufacturing, then this might be a good choice for you. On the other hand, it is not the wireless remote, vibrating anal dildo with harness-compatibility, that we have been looking for, and consequently we’ll keep looking.
